Consenus is that it's better to clean and reuse your original jets but you can use the float valve and gaskets from the kit. I usually get gaskets separately and clean all the other parts in my ultrasonic cleaner. These guys are pretty good but you need to know if you have a 'round' bowl or square bowl carb. http://4into1.com/float-bowl-gasket-161 ... b77-cb750/ Here is the petcock kit and I think Tim does the carb kits too. http://www.classichondarestoration.com/ ... d_253.html G

carb.rebuild kitsthanks very much G. i think i well go with what you do and just get the Gaskets and clean the rest.so there's none of the parts that wear & have to be replaced.it would be easier if the bike was here they don't deliver it till monday.so i'm preparing for things i'll probably have to deal with.thxs much ttyl Mike

Yes, I rode my brother's CB72 when I was 14 and loved it. They are such a pretty bike, and I never forgot that over 40 years of motorcycling. Trouble is they are pretty rare in the UK and our weather isn't very kind to old bikes. This is the best I could come up with - a 1964 CB77 that had been in a damp shed for years and years.... Restoration is on hold until the 1961 bike is done.... G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
