Ignition coil leaking oil.

Cause of the occasional misfire perhaps. Where to buy a replacement in the UK please.
D. Silver does not appear to have them.
Cheers.

I cannot remember which bike you have. I have some spares for CB / CL but not Dream.

Coil

Post by cadman » Tue Aug 22, 2017 6:59 pm

I posted this a few week ago for a Dream - here it is

The Dream coil also interchanges with Suzuki #33410-45012 and Kawasaki KZ900 and KZ1000 #30500-422-013

Can be bought a Walmart and Amazon and lots of other places.

Coils

My apologies for late reply and my thanks for your replies guys. In the end purchased a pair of pattern coils from the Green Spark Plug Co. and I'm very pleased to say that she doesn't drop her head now.
Just returned from a week in the Derbyshire dales ripping it up. Snake pass, the Cat and fiddle and all that. The roads are totally deserted, just lots of cameras on the main drags.
Of course now there is something else. After a good hammering then rolling back the throttle to cruise she goes into highly race bike tune. Rumbling and kinda eight stroking till you wind it on and it clears. Will pull the plugs and check the points then ditto the carbs. Eight stroking - running a bit rich maybe. Well I have done alsorts to try and get rid of the "dropping head" problem as I call it.
Getting there. Cheers. Rob.
