It is nice. The tank, seat, front brake, megaphones, etc look authentic. The engine breather had me fooled. Does it have dual OH cams? The side number plates would not have been used when a fairing was installed, only in conjunction with a front number plate attached to the tach bracket.

Phil,
Looking through the fairing cutout at the top of the head it looks to be a CR head with the DOHC and all else I can see says its a CR. I would sure like to know the S/N#'s or who owns it, if at all possible. Cliff

This looks like the CR72 replica that Ellis Holman started, but never completed. I think he sold it to a fellow in Florida. Here is a photo. --Randall

Phil and Randall,
The main reason I was curious about the bike in the pictures, being an original or replica, is because I was wondering if they might like an original frame and swing arm. Right before I left Japan in 64', Honda gave me a CR72 frame and swing arm. I was going to use it for road racing but the Air Force wouldn't let me race after I returned to the states. I am still thinking about putting my Yoshimura modified equipment on it when I get the time to go through what I have. If somebody wanted this original frame and we could come up with a satisfactory price, I may think about selling it. Thats why I was interested in the numbers and/or name. CliffC
