Looking for a side stand!!

Post by Ryan » Tue Jul 27, 2010 9:55 am

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with some side stand info.
Would this fit my 1966 CP77?

I've been looking for one, but have read some things about them being shitty, and if you sit on the bike while they're out...they may bend.

ANy help would be appreciated!!!!

Thanks

Something looks odd about that piece, not sure what. For some reason, the stands are uber expensive. I sold the one off my parts bike for $85. Do they break easy or something? That doesn't strike me as a part that often gets removed during a cafe build or chop.

What I would do is search ebay for parts bikes and see if the person is willing to sell just the stand for $50. Also, allofcraigslist.com is your friend. Do a search for honda cb77 and there should be a few parts bikes on there that people would be willing to sell individual pieces from.

Ive tried searching for parts bikes, but no one wants to give theirs up.

Besides being super expensive? Does anyone see anything wrong with this stand?
More importantly, I lost a bolt for my center stand...and need to aquire one of those as well. Would anyone know of a quick fix for that until my new ones arrive?

Thanks !!!
