See, Deeg; just takes a little nudge to get us to play with our toys!

I know JS about the cycleparts arrangement on the CL, but there certainly ain't any 12s on the powertrain....

My CB has quite a few 13s now, as I've been replacing the old M8 screws & nuts with modern 316-s/s. It's a bit of a pain inasmuch that I've not yet found a Kowa-Honda spanner with a 13mm end for my carry-around bike toolkit.

Ha! I may get a 12/10 and machine it out to 13....

The CL77 came with 14mm chrome bolts when issued. .....lm

I'm far from an expert on these bikes so take this for what it is worth. I understand that the funky looking "8" on bolt heads is coveted by Honda restorers. This is the 8 that looks more like a zero with two holes instead of one. I have at least 1 of those that have 8MM threads and a 12mm head on my '67. Could be a dealer replacement, but it's there, nonetheless.

regards,
Rob

Way back then, when 'metric' was a dirty word in the US, I reckon there could've been a number of fixings that got out-sourced by the dealers?

If that's a Honda wrench, I'd appreciate a heads-up, Deeg. Nice one!
