Vince, THAT is it, but I sure never saw one go THAT cheap though.

WELL, that piece I bought off of ebay, to mount the lower (or rear) of the damper, will not work on the CB frame. I DO have a '67 CL77 frame that is doing nothing, SO, IF I decide to build something out of IT AND want to put a damper on it, I already have the mount piece that goes on the frame. So, anyway. At this point, I am thinking about looking at making one of those bolts that mounts the damper to the frame. That is, IF I can pull it off.

I've seen that bolt come up for sale a few times. I bought one last year for around $25 from Thailand. Came a month later and looks good. Apparently they have someone making them over there for next to nothing.
