I'm in the beaches, so the quickest way out of the mess is to go up Stouffville way. I like riding up there, some nice twisty small backroads, farm country. I don't really put a lot of miles on the bikes, like I'd like to. I keep the Superhawk for running around town, take the 750 on some longer rides. I got the 750 together JUST in time to go to Paris last year, which had the Honda 750 as it's theme bike.

The Paris show is really great -- I rode my SuperHawk from Baltimore to there a few years back, and it was definitely worth it. Do you go every year to it?
I guess if you wanted to do Forks of the Credit, probably take the Gardiner west and make your way up the 410 to 10, and then west.
Beaches (or now they're calling it The Beach?!) is a great area -- my Dad used to take me for coconut cream pie at the Goof, and he had his real estate office and Coxwell and Gerard for almost 40 years. My grandfather had his shoe repair store where the streetcar loop is now at Coxwell and Queen, then he moved it next to the Tulip.

Yeah, my wife says do you remember the hot chocolate from the diner beside "Raymonds" Barber shop? And she laments the fact that Nova fish and chips is gone.
We're getting some cooler weather now, but I've had the Superhawk out a bunch. I like the new low bars I put on this winter. Sure makes the bike feel different, I getting used to them now.
Not sure if I'll go to Paris this year. I took the 750 last year, I think I'd like to take the Superhawk this year for a switch......Safe riding Vince!

Never been for hot chocolate next to Raymond's, so no. But I do remember my Dad taking me to Nova (on Kingston Rd, yes?). We were more of a Duckworth's family -- my Dad used to go fishing with Len Duckworth back in the '50s and '60s, and Len used to have a small table for two in the kitchen, and my Dad and I would eat there when the restaurant was packed. The other place that was good was Hamish's on Vic Park near St. Clair.
