Guys

Is this for real? It certainly looks nice although the photos aren't brilliant.

What do you think?

G,

This bike was on e-bay a couple of months ago as a restored bike the seller bought about 10 years ago and never really rode it. It went for the buy-it-now at I think $3200. The craigslist ad doesn't advertise as original unrestored miles, I think he is letting people assume unless directly asked. It was listed on craigslist earlier and must not have sold. Look at the mirrors pointing up to the sky- not original mirrors as issued by Honda when the bike was new. Look at the cables, some have the yellowing of age and some are bright silver/grey. Tail light bracket painted blue when it should be silver. Since the frame number is not given I can't say with certainty on some things, but I'd say if it has the lip on the front of the seat it should have the higher western bars. Also the one piece exhaust is probably after issue. That is my quick, loose look at it. I'm sure there are other things to note. My opinion- restored bike.

Thanks Tom. I am always sceptical. It looked a bit shiny even for an unused bike at 40+ years old.
