Billyfly--I see you have it wired brown/yellow/red. Have you checked to see what kind of voltage that gives you at the battery? Does it function as it should?

It does work... About 1 amp back to battery
I have since switched from ballistic battery
To Mercedes back up battery... Much better

Thanks. Looking at the wiring diagrams for the Honda and the Kohler, that makes sense.

I'm using a NOS battery. I hope this prolongs its life. At $100 a pop, I can't afford to replace it every season.
