That does hurt for sure!. ...........lm

And speaking of platings, I had a chance to pick up a NOS chrome part from a dealer and when he went into his bins to look at it, he said half the chrome had peeled off while it sat in the bin all those years. Talk about bursting my balloon.

My CA95 was that arrangement -- cush-drive in the rear hub, I seem to recall.
LOUD MOUSE wrote:Early bags were canvas with a foam rubber lining and a single sort of canvas strap ya just wound around to hold the bag closed.
Plastic came later. .............lm
My toolkit, as previously LMidentified, is from a C/CA; it has the plastic roll with the one, long canvas tie and thin canvas edging.

10 x 14 wrench
Still available -- try Bike Bandit.
Snakeoil wrote:Instead of the 10 x 14, I have a 10 x 12 wrench and a 14 x 17 wrench.

It also appears I have an extra tappet wrench, which is good because the wrench shown in the parts book is actually too large for my tappets.
5mm spoke wrench?
Snakeoil wrote:Pouch is in pretty good shape, only missing the band to hold it rolled up. Was that an elastic band or a simple flat strap that you tied. I suspect it was the latter based on the remnant still sewn to the pouch. Pouch is blue vinyl with a black cloth edging all around.
Same here.

Well, got my tools in today. Came in a nice cigar box :-)

Sizes were 10 & 12 for the small guy, 17 & 19 for the medium open end, 22 for the single closed end, and 22 & 23 for the large closed end. The spark plug wrench looked to be 13/16"

The tools were painted with some silver paint. They sure look nice but the paint scratches off easily. I scratched off a portion of the larger open end wrench. Not sure if you can tell in this small picture.

I still need to try the spanner out to see if it fits anything on the bike. Overall, I guess it's a good buy for the money. I'll probably have them blasted and replated when I do the rest of the small bits on the bike.

'Tis a shame that the seller painted them for the sake of the eBay sale; could almost be construed as misrepresentation. However, still not a bad buy at that price.

I don't think there are 12mm-headed screws/bolts on the CB; not that I can think of just now, anyway. CMSnl has a selection of individual CB tools, as does Bike Bandit, so you can add to it. Most are not expensive.

Join the group of nerdy-geeks here, now obsessed (welcome to my world!) with home plating -- I'm soon to join, also -- and wire-wheel the tools then plate them yourself. Don't spent any more money on them; 'tain't worth it.

May I ask where ya found the 12mm?
I agree with e3 that HONDA didn't install 12mm or 13mm fasteners on these bikes. ......lm
