Squealing noise around stator and slow return to idles

This week hasn't been good because my life size SUV and radio controlled SUV began acting up almost simultaneously.

Also, the clutch basket is out due to not being able to shift properly. I hope to be able to give you a call tomorrow morning if available.

Apparently I stripped one of the main chain adjusters, and the new ones will arrive 28NOV.

LM was helping me with a clutch issue but I had to go back to work before I could figure it out. We left off at aligning the kickstarter gears correctly.

Upon screwing the clutch cable adjusters all the way in and setting the R. side clutch adjuster all the way clockwise, then backing off 1/8 inch, i tighten everything up.

The clutch lever doesn't feel too tight or loose.

When looking down at the clutch plates while engaging the clutch lever, I notice the entire clutch basket moving very very slightly outward and moving less than a mm clockwise, however, the plates move as one unit. 20 minutes before that, I had the clutch plates out, verifying they arent sticking together.

I was expecting the plates to push further out.

If you can see the pressure palate move "OUT" then the clutch will release.
The fact that the pressure plate moves will release the clutch and you can shift. .................lm

No apparent outward movement of the pressure plate, and when kicking it over with the clutch lever in, the motor still turns.

Logic won when I realized my clutch lifter joint wasn't behind the pressure plate for the clutch rod to push into.

No apparent outward movement of the pressure plate, and when kicking it over with the clutch lever in, the motor still turns.
