Capacitors?

Hello Davo,

Did any of the CB's or CL's use capacitors? Just curious. My cb77 only runs with the battery.

No. I have used a capacitor on both a CB and a CL. They run just fine. I haven't worked out the lighting yet on either bike, they're both customs that are rarely ridden.

i had the airfilters off and was watching the carbs close and making sure they were closing at the same time. with the cutaways facing the airfilters the slides dont close 100%.?????I just dont see anything that can hang up. I talked with the orignal owner and he said they never did any carb work, i was thinking he replaced the slides or somthing. but he said he didnt.

It's normal to see the bottom extremity of the slide, when fully shut, when it's in the correct carb and the right way round.

i tryed it both ways. switched slids around. had cutouts facing engine and airfilters. when the cutout is facing the airfilters it would idle super high around 4000 rpm. just a question, is the front screw the idle or is it the one right in the middle. the one on the bowl is to drain i know that much, but not much more. im waiting on my book to come in from the honda dealer.
