Well, that's put my theory into the bin. I read, somewhere, that CBMs were:

• a) all 247cc
  b) single-seat
  c) type-II motor

Interesting stuff, though.

i read that the motors were all 360 crank

I'm sure Ed (LOUD MOUSE) or Rob in Oz (wombat200) must have some market-dependent knowledge? I also seem to remember reading that the CBM was a predominantly , but not solely, domestic (Japanese) market model.
