I just installed those same Gazelles on my CB77. I found a nice video on YouTube and used baby powder for the first time in my life as the vid. guy recommended (I've changed about 20-30 tires). It was slick! The cleanup was simple. I had help with 2 tire "spoons" available form any bike store for about $7-$10. each.

Are you suggesting that I'm the only one here with a thing of baby powder in the shop for fitting tubes?

That must be an advantage of being of a certain age - I was around when everyone knew that sort of stuff.

I may have used it too, but damn if I can remember (creak, groan).

Dana, have you yet ridden the bike with those Gazelles? I bought a set last year, but haven't yet put them on (still riding on my Dunlop K82's).

A friend of mine has them on his SuperHawk, but he doesn't ride that bike very much, so I don't know how they are. Any thoughts? Think they'll last?

Vince,

Not yet. ETA on roll-out is still a month or two away. I'll let you know. I'll strap a camera on first ride for a youtube video.

I have Gazelles on my cub. Never had a problem. Now I'll admit I don't take corners on my knees as she only does about 30mph, but I ride in all weather and have no problems in wet weather as well as dry.
