Hello everyone
Just to complicate matters I know some, but as far as I know not all Scottish counties did not use the A plates. I have a 63 CB72 ( 31**** ) with a 3&3 reg.no.
Unlike now, at the time I tried to get the original plate and they would only give me a TSU no. I think they had a batch of these unused as I see them on a lot of older restored vehicles this was in 1989. Now it seems a lot easier to either retain a plate or get a
"age related" one.
Still as they say I wish I knew then what I have forgotten now.

The CB72 is [171 YUR]
Thanks GORDON BROWN I had forgotten about the 63 licence change, although I believe very few authorities used the A most waiting until 64 with B.
The book I use was given to us for MOT purposes back in 50/60's.
The licence plate is incidental now we know the DVLA is involved, I have no faith in them, anyone here lost their motorcycle licence thanks to them?
