Nice! As well as my project bike #0969 (engine and frame) I have engine #2159 looking for a frame.

I think I need to emigrate..... :-)

You may as well, borders wide open ; )

Swapmeet opened a few leads and another April purchase could happen today, going to look at a "Superhawk in a box" this morning.

Superhawk in a box was a bust as for putting together another bike without looking for more parts, wheels and mufflers. It is however a treasure of parts, nos included. NOS speedo, chainguard, gaskets, petcocks, lock set, valves, headlight buckets (1 early), headlight ears, lower fork covers...............................etc. Toward the end of looking the good stuff came out, front fender in the box, new a/m seat, tank panels and a genuine NOS CYB seat.

Also included a complete fresh engine, bottom end is together, fresh bored S2 cylinder w/ new pistons and rings, the head needs to be assembled.

It wasn't cheap but a deal was made and I was happy to purchase all of it.

I see those CYB seats listed on eBay for as much as 2000 dollars. The find of a lifetime as far as the stuff I've found in my lifetime is concerned. Congratulations. Was it our friend Hill? Now, I'm off to run some errands on my 75 CB750. Life is good.

Thanks Steve! Yeah I'd sell it for 2k, don't think I'd have any takers though! I had to make a trip into WA for this stuff, was a fellow with a booth at PIR selling car parts. We somehow got on the subject of Superhawks and he brought up the bike and parts. There might still be a chance on getting the rims and mufflers.

After seeing nothing on eBay for several years, one came up in the UK just after I bought my CYB seat (NOS) for around $900 last year.

Pretty much there now with my CYB project shopping after finding quite a lot of a NOS Honda 5-speed gearbox in Australia.........

Regards

Graham
