Interesting story about my 305.. I moved to Southern Vermont about 3 years ago. I'm living on an old 160 acre farm with a nice size old barn. Inside the barn tucked away in an unaccessable corner sat a 1964 305. I've owned many old Honda's and immediatly realized what I was looking at. The story goes that the bike had been parked in 1977 and hadn't moved since. I starting the restoration about 6 months ago gathering parts here and there. Knowing this bike has been given a second chance in the same place it has sat idle, I think it's gotta be happy! Unfortunately I don't have the money to be buying original mufflers. I found these straight pipes that look great and should sound just as good. I'm kind of going for the old school cruiser look with wide bars, solo seat, straight exhaust and so on and so forth..
I look forwar dto your knowledge and every one else's on this forum.
Thanks for your help!!
