Hey guys, just wondering what an original untorn and very good condition late model Superhawk seat is worth?

I just paid 178.00 (with shipping) for a really nice original seat, the chrome trim has a little rust on it that should clean up nicely, at least the trim strip was all there, no dents or cracks. JWB

well I was gonna post one up for sale but I guess at that price I'd rather burn it. Does nobody appreciate the original over the reproduction?

Post a picture of it. If it is in good condition, it should easily be worth what a re-pop is worth.

problem with a lot of those original seats, occasionally, is that they are as hard as a calculus exam.
that and the logo on the back is usually faded pretty badly. I ended up opting to have my seat repadded, and recovered. paid a visit to the intelligell store and pretended like i wanted to buy their beds, they gave me a foot by foot sample... went to the other end of town and did the same thing at that store, then gave em to my seat guy for the padding.
