handlebar part number?

Post by eyhonda » Wed Apr 15, 2009 7:48 am

I was wondering what the part number is for the short rise handlebar for the later cb77? It looks to be similar to the 2" rise of the cb400f.

part numbers

Post by eyhonda » Wed May 06, 2009 9:46 am

53100-268-000 001 $72.28 / 68.38
53100-268-670 001 $53.46 / 37.24

I found these numbers on the microfiche for 1961. Does anyone know what version each number represents? I'm interested in the low rise bars.

Does anyone with the low rise bars have the measurements? Width, pullback, rise, clamp area width.

Thanks,
Eric

000 is the number for the flat bars.
670 is for the low rise bars for bikes after 1028216.
The fiche wasn't available in 1961. ????????????
These bars were used on the CB72/77 (670 on 1966/67 CB77 only) as the CB72 had been discontinued in 1965.
As I know the 670 wasn't used on any other HONDA bike and were very easy to bend. ................lm
