I pushed it out into the middle of the yard, told the wife to get ready to call 911, dragged the water hose out, put a little gas in the tank, checked for leeks, none, hooked jumper cables to my tractor, turned the key, pressed the button, and in the woods of frankenstien, " IT LIVES". it turned over about two& ahalf times, fired right up skipped a little and smoothed out nice. pitchers to come.

here's my super low budget rebuild. that's a 4.00 rear built by Armstrong rubber Co. West Haven Ct. for Indian Motorcycles, Indian logo is branded on tire. Parts I bought are pistons, rings, motor gaskets and handlebars.

very nice! I think blue is prettiest color, I'm prejudiced. You gonna go light blue on the seat?
Congrats...Lee

seat

Post by chico » Tue Aug 18, 2009 8:06 am

Thanks Lee, I have not disided on the seat yet , I can't remember the original seat cover. By the way your videos knocked my socks off, I got real excited when I heard yours, it lit a fire under my butt to get mine running. Blue was original color of mine. talk latter, Chico
