Crank seal tab
I didn’t notice the tab on the crank seal whenever I put it in. I put it on and then closed up the cases . Has anyone done this and left it as is . I really don’t want to buy a new seal or split the cases again as I have everything torqued down with sealant . It looks like the position makes no difference but ? It also looks like the seal will be fine as the tab is small . Any thoughts ?

Re: Crank seal tab
Not to worry.
That tab is to help keep the seal in place as the cases are put together. ................lm
