Toronto, first ride of 2012

Post by 68Cb77 » Sun Mar 18, 2012 8:25 pm

Finally got her out today. Spring really snuck up on us this year. I thought I had plenty of time, I could have been riding for a few weeks, but got it going today. I put on new "low bars", new headers, rebuilt the speedo, new clutch springs, new primary chain. It ran great! And I always get a few "thumbs up" as I drive around.

I did a bunch of work to it, so short rides around the neighbourhood until I see if anything falls off it! So far so good.

Actually though Vince, we had zero winter this year. I saw bikes out almost the whole winter. I shovelled about 2 inches of snow, twice the entire winter. Never seen one like it.

Yeah, we were the same down here -- very odd to have daffodils in bloom in February. I'm just not looking forward to seeing what it's going to be like in July!

So where do you go riding in the GTA? Ever head out to the Forks of the Credit area?
