Planning to change the oil on my '67 Scrambler. What type of oil is the best to use?
Is there a filter?

Where is the oil filter? is there one on a 305 Scrambler?

There is no replaceable oil filter on a 305.

There is a centrifugal oil slinger under the left motor side cover. It isn't something that needs to be addressed every oil change but if the bike is new to you it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
