Differences in cb77 & cl77?
If I started with a cl77, what do I need to make it a cb77? CLs seem easier to find CBs.

Turning a CL into a CB or vise versa?
You would need an incredible amount of talent and a full machine and fabricating shop and a staff of 1960's Japanese engineers.
That is like turning a Harley into an air compressor...no wait, that is pretty easy to do :)
You need to take a close look at both of them side by side...actually not even a close look. WAAAAAY different motorcycles.

It's already a CB77..... with different gearing..... different cycle parts..... different frame.... and exhausts. And no electric starter. It's just a little taller.eyhonda wrote:If I started with a cl77, what do I need to make it a cb77? CLs seem easier to find CBs.

newbie :)
Well this shows how much of a newbie I am, at least for cb77s. I was thinking along the lines of the cb/cl160 which are very close to the same bike. All the differences relate to the exhaust. Centerstand, pegs, toolbox, brake pedal. Anyway, I'll keep looking for a CB.
