im planning on getting into it farther after the carb. it seems to run and idle fine, but im just having that fourth gear dilemma so im going to rebuild the carb and go from there. i hope to not have to worry about the timing, but if i do then so be it. im trying to get over being sick before i can even do any of this.

timing is totally easy compared to a vespa. there's no flywheel to pull to get to the point plate. do you have a timing light?

my dad does so ill probably go and borrow one from him. there are some tools i don't keep stocked and a timing light is one i havent needed since i owned an 85 camaro. where are the instructions on here about doing the timing? i appreciate the help by the way.
