Replacement headlight

Post by bj » Tue Oct 28, 2008 6:39 pm

Anyone know where to pick up one of those niffty replacement headlight housings? It seems like they used to be on ebay awhile back, but I haven't seen one in the last year.

Thanks,

Bryan

You can find them at http://www.olypen.com/retro/ under the LIGHTS/LENSES/SHELLS/RIMS tab on the left. The part number is HL-259-305, and they come in black color only, and they are only $20.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, I wasn't very clear as to what I was looking for. I need a replacement for the sealed beam. There is a post on this site where someone has a picture of one. It's the one that can accept many different bulbs.

I ended removing the old bulb out of the sealed beam. I cut off the back with a diamond wheel on a dremel. I ordered this bulb, http://www.bikebandit.com/product/A5221911. Thanks dogsbd for the recomendation.

We'll see how it goes when I get it.
