How do I identify the year model of my CA77?

I just bought a very nice, all original, 305 Dream. It was a "barn find". The original owner rode it 450 miles and then it sat in his barn for 40+ years. The engine number is CA77 E - 319159. If you know how to determine the year model, please let me know. Thanks, Mark

Mark, according to my Bill Silvers' books 63 CA-77s only went up to 314731! I would guess it is a 63. Are you sure you read the number correctly?.............................D

It is a pressed steel frame - not welded pipe.
