Difference between a CA78 versus a CA77

Post by Charlotte305 » Fri Apr 02, 2010 3:42 pm

Hello. Just joined the forums today. This is a great site. Looking forward to participating.

I've just started the restoration of a 1968 CA78. It's been in the family since 1974 but it's been idle and has not actually run in probably 25 years. But that's soon about the change!!

Just out of curiosity - what are the differences between a CA77 and a CA78?

This was prompted by the fact that my bike's serial number has a CA78 prefix while its engine has a CA77E prefix.

Thanks for any insight that anyone can share.

no difference... Do a CA78 search on this site and you will find other threads covering this.glad to see new members.Search function can answer tons of questions that may have been covered already.I know, I asked enough of them myself and still have plenty! Joe
