First time out of the garage in three years

Post by 305 » Fri Apr 16, 2010 8:25 pm

for some reason i haven't been using my dream the last few years...it's been busy for me. after a little encouragement from some co-workers i spent the afternoon installing new spark plugs , cleaning the carb , airing the tires , changing the oil , draining the old crappy gas and refilling with fresh fuel.

of course it needed a test ride, just went on a 38 mile trip..that felt great! . i've owned this one since 1973. just thought i'd share. sorry for the dark picture

That bike is outstanding! Love all the additional chrome (crash bars, bumpers, luggage rack). If my Dream looked like that I'd ride it all day every day - responsibilities be damned! Enjoy!

thanks for the kind words. just had it out for a short ride , hopefully i will get a lot of use out of it this year...neither me or the Honda are getting any younger so we might as well enjoy it while we can

i forgot to mention a new battery too, got it at O'Reilly Auto Parts..... 12N9-3A crosses to their CB9LB , about $40
