Good Day, I have been debating whether to buy the electronic ignition from the marketplace and just wanted a little feedback from some of you that have them. Could you tell me if it makes the bike run that much better for the cost, I also see the solid state rectifiers on ebay, has anyone got one of those? I do have trouble keeping the battery charged with the headlight on, any help is appreciated.

i have no experience with the electronic ignition so i can not comment , but i have changed the rectifier on my Dream. i followed the instructions i found on here and used the part available from Radio Shack for a few bucks. while i was not having a problem , i do feel it keeps my battery charged better
