Trans America trail ride on CA77

Post by Buck » Fri May 28, 2010 7:47 am

Check out these guys riding their Honda Dreams from Arkansas to Calif. on the Trans America trail.Go to You Tube and search for honda dream trans. Dirt roads, water crossings, high altitude and all done on old CA77's. There are pictures posted and a great vidio. Quite a testament to how tough these old bikes and the riders are. These are some friends of mine and I sure missed a great adventure.

I believe the "aftermarket" seats are one essential for that kind of trip!

Yes, they made it all the way to Sanfrancisco then rented a truck to haul them back. The pictures and vidio were made on the first three days of thr ride,820 miles. There will be much more added soon of the rest of the trip. They also plan to write up a story about the journey for the VJMC magazine. The Skole can point cover made it the whole trip after losing the original cover on day one.
