TANK EMBLEMS FOR 1965 HONDA DREAM
I recently purchased a 1965 Honda Dream 305. The tank emblems were completely gone and rotted off. I have been told the tank emblems from the factory in 1965 read Honda 300. Someone else told me they should read Honda Dream 300. Does anyone know the answer to this question? Also are they suppose to be gold or silver wings? I have started a blog on Google trying to document the maintenance and restoration. Please register. I am inviting anyone with constructive criticism to visit my blog and leave comments. http://305dream.blogspot.com/

Re: TANK EMBLEMS FOR 1965 HONDA DREAM
By 1965 the badge will show "HONDA 300" and all were Black and Bronze/sort of Gold but ultra violet light causes the color to change to Silver.

305 emblems
Yes I got them from Ray Byrne. I am having fun on the Dream.. Can't wait for cooler weather. Too hot here in Florida!!
Hi
Great blog and nice detail in the pics. Looks like you've been involved with bikes before.
Cooler here in UK, middle 60s F. Just having dinner in Plymouth, watching the sun go down, listening to some live music. Only thing missing is a bike, as I am away on business.
I am slowly building up two 1962 Dreams so will follow your excellent blog.
Cheers
