CA77 Left side (battery) cover same for all years?

Are they the same for all years?

No they are not all the same I don't know the year for the change either but know of the four dreams that I have some have a big battery cover and and a small battery cover. They also take different batteries.

Per my parts book, the change is at ser.# 1010863.

The early box cover has a hinge at the bottom that is roughly 7 1/2" .. what's the width of the hinge at the bottom of the later one?

The later ones are approx 5 1/2"
