This dream is about 10 miles from my house for sale on the side of the road. I have never seen a seat like it. The owner says it does not run. He is asing $450 for it. What do you guys think, should I buy it??

Well...it's got the carburetor 'clamshell' and the emblems...from what I've seen those are pretty much worth the price right there! Bonus if it runs! :)
And is that a fender packing I see on the front fender?? And what's with the big honkin' gauge on the front?
I'd offer him $300 cash and see where THAT goes...
Just my 2 cents...

$300 - $350.. it kind of looks like it's been ridden a lot and you might be looking at replacing a lot of engine parts. However it's got enough key parts that you could part it out and get your $300 back pretty easily so worst case you wouldn't be losing money at that price.
yeah.. that sprite/midget (not sure which it is) looks like fun too.rrietman wrote:how much does he want for the sprite?

That has to be the UGLIEST seat I have EVER SEEN! haha... it looks like the seat on the bike from Easy Rider with Dennis Hopper! ;)
$350 TOPS is what I would pay for it... Its going to be a HUGE job to get it to good condition again. Runners are always good, much better than not running.
Plus its close to your house so that helps!
