Wheel Hub holder

Post by Sascha » Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:51 am

Hey guys,

So the wheel hub (front wheel, left side) is held in place by a short arm that mounts from the hub brakcet to a bracket on the fork casing... The arm seems to be REALLLY close to the rim... can someone post a photo of this as I am concerned I have somehthing incorreclty... maybe Im missing a spacer or something!? the bolt that goes through the fork casing to hold the arm is about 1-2cm from the hitting the rim... Should I be worried?!

You are the man brewsky... I love you for your fast responses... you put the fires out before they even start! I was about to pull it apart and find out if I mounted it correclty. Cheers!
Mines just as close as yours. I was worried for a minute there.

What IS the correct way to get that arm on and off? The one I have is giving me fits, and seeing how I have a nice new paint job on my '64 CA77, I really don't want to scratch it all up - is there a trick to it?
