Hi All;
Not to beat a dead horse, but about the rims: can anybody please tell me, what angle do the spoke holes need to be for a 1962/1964 CA77 so those big honkin' hubs will fit onto a new rim..?
And they ARE 36-hole, right? So ideally, a new rim should be 16x3.25, 36-hole, and...(spoke angle)??
Does anybody know the spoke angle??
I MAY be on to something, but I need this specific information, especially any spoke angle specs...
And again, to review:
1964 CA77 305 Tires/Wheels
RIM: 16x3.25
Tire: 3.25x16 (yes??) OR 110/90-16 ??
Spoke Angle: ??
Is this correct...?
Thanks!
John
Need further SPECIFIC rim info
John,
The wheel size and the tire size are two different measurements. The stock tire size for the Dream is 3.25/16 The correct rim size for that size tire should be 2.15" also called WM3 I believe the 2.15" is actually the dimension between the bead surfaces of the rim. A 110/90 is probably too wide for a replacement size. I'm not sure about the spoke angle. This is the type of information you need to quote. The spoke pitch on the hub relates to the spoke angle. http://www.central-wheel.co.uk/rims/rim ... edure.html Cheers G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
