tires on ebay??

there is a gentlemen from VA, selling 110/70/16 ( with a new set of tubes the whole deal for $105)...new style tubless tires on ebay that swears up and down that they not only fit his dream but make the riding much more enjoyable... anybody have any dealings with him,, he attaches some photo's of the bike with the tires on it and i just bought a pair but they look quite large now that they are here... i 'm still detailing the hubs and respoking the rims so i have not installed them yet,,, any body else use these tires??? i 'll let you know once i get to that point , how they worked for me.... nick

I've seen his listings and was interested myself.
If the sizing is true, then they would be about an inch wider and 1/4 inch shorter than 3.25 stock size.
But actual measurements vary considerably from various manufacturers for the same size.
Post some pics if you can when mounted.
It does look like a good deal if the size is acceptable.

I bought a pair. They're a good fit. Kind of tight in the bead, but they pop on eventually. I haven't taken them out on the freeway or anything like that, but at neighborhood speeds they handle nicely. They don't rub on anything and they look good on the bike.
