Jethro, nice to see your on here! Hope the dream you sold gets taken care of well. At least you'll see it around and know if it's being treated right!

If I wanted to steal a Dream, I could simply figure out where it's parked regularly, copy down the number, and have a key cut that would fit both the ignition and the fork lock. There's also the problem of parts beign taken off. A lot of what's there is held on by connectors that don't even require a wrench for removal. Mine will always be either inside the garage, between my legs, or in plain sight.
You wouldn't even need to do that. Just lift it into the back of the truck and drive off.

theft
I lived in Hawaii for a long time and this was the preferred method. Some big dudes down there and they would just pull up in a truck and throw your bike in back.... And if you caught them in the act to bad... there still bigger than you hahapknopp wrote:Cheburashka wrote:I wouldn't trust the stock "security system." Battery dimensions
Wow this took me way to long and I'm sorry for that but the dimensions are as follows: Height=5 1/2" Width=5 1/4" and Depth=2 3/4"bbap wrote:Nice bike. I like the Black/Black. Would look great next to my Red/Red 305. When I clicked on the pic, I was directed to your Flickr page and saw the other pics of the bike. Q: Anyway you could give me the dimensions of your battery? I just went through the process of getting one and it's a little small for the compartment. I never thought of a Parts Unlimited RCB9L-B. Yours looks like it fits nice and snug within the confines. Thanks! Steve
Hope this information is helpful!
