Newbie update & need help - No Spark

Yeah already ordered it.

How to go about checkin the condensor?

I know that the wire to the points is working, Found out by accident but there is power there.

Got spark

well I got spark now I have a fuel issue, I have drain hose on the bottom of the carb and it is basically draining all the fuel. I read on a few older posts that this isnt needed. do most of you plug the tube?

The float and float valve should cut off the fuel when it reaches the right level in the carb. You need to dismantle the carb and see that the float is free to move and that the float valve is sealing properly.
