Tire Air Pressure?

Post by ROBM50 » Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:23 pm

Hey guys, if a tire is puncture free, is there an expected amount of air pressure loss over the course of two to three days and how much if any does extremely hot weather play into it? Thanks! Rob

Pressure loss over time duration should be zero. Pressure can fluctuate 1-2 lbs(approx) for every 10 degrees outside temp. Always check and adjust tire pressures when they are cold. HTH

Yeah, I maintain air pressure over the course of a summer. I have had to (which one should always check anyway) add air after the bike has sat for a long time.
