Does anybody have a photo of the right and left sides of a 1964 CA77E engine (without the covers, of course) they can send me, via PM or here, showing chain placement?
I'm also looking for a photo of the placement of the shifter fork, and the oil filter, gear and tensioner that's to the right of it...I FINALLY found some pistons, and am in the process of finally putting the engine back together, but I'm not too sure of the setup for the chain that goes around the oil filter - and worse yet, I have either (1) misplaced or (2) did not take off that gear. I got the bike as a basket case almost two years ago, ran out of money and had a work-stoppage, and now that I finally have the means to put it back together again I don't remember if it was on there or not. Everything else I have neatly bagged and tagged, but I can't find the set-up for that gear!
It's a big nut, held in place with four metal tabs, and I can't find a diagram of it in the parts fiche on the CSML web site; ergo, a photo of how each side looks would be awesome. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
