CA77 New Acquisition

Post by husabob » Fri Apr 06, 2012 6:14 pm

Just picked this 305 Dream up last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YGL4plI ... e=youtu.be Now I gotta decide between this bike, my beater CL77, or Suzi TS50 to ride the Moto Giro. Anyone have a headlight for it they wanna part with? I have a CA95 h/l I can trade, or cash, PayPal, check, organic eggs! Thanks, Bob B. Brookline, NH. USA

Looks pretty nice. You can buy a more modern headlight for the same price as people want an old one for. The link is on here somewhere.

I have a used clutch cable that I took off my bike when I changed from the early style cover that you have (with longer clutch cable entering the side cover from the rear) to the later style that has the cable enter the cover from above. It's 52.5 inches long and runs through the frame and out through the distribution box cover via the slot at the leading edge of the cover. Send me a PM if you want it. The cable is great, the chrome 90 is great, the plastic chrome piece that goes between the chrome 90 and the cable housing is great, but the little boot that goes over the adjuster at the top of the case has a split in it but is still intact.

More information

I finally found some time to get the engine and frame numbers.
Frame: CA78-401533
Engine: CA77E-401909
My research indicates it's a '64, which unless someone says otherwise, that is what I'll register as. Anyone? Thanks, Bob B
