Is there any trick or usefull knowledge to have for removing and replacing the front and rear wheel bearings? The bearing in the sprocket hub was easy as it could be pressed out from the back side. The front and rear hubs have been giving me some issues as there are two bearings, one on either side of the hub. Working on the front hub I have pressed one bearing deeper in in an attempt to press the bearing on the other side out. It worked a bit but after moving out about 2 or 3 mm it seems to have stopped. I am concerned about damaging something so have stopped there. My concern is that there is a ridge or some sort of stop inside the hub that is stopping any further progress. Any thoughts or inputs of how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
On a related topic I would like to replace the steering bearings with the recommended set from All balls. I found a thread that listed the set for a CB/CL 72-77 but not sure if that is the same set for the Dream.

Wheel bearings on 1967 CA78/Steering Bearing?
Marty; wheel bearings. find a bolt that drives into the inner really tight, then knock it out from the other side. otherwise, I have had good luck with running a weld ead on the inner, letting it cool and the drive it out .
there are no tapered steering bearing parts that fit the dreams. they look/sound close but don't fit

Thanks, I'll try the bolt trick and if that doesn't work go buy a welder...please understand when my wife calls because I plan to throw you under the bus on this and tell her you told me I had to have a nice new welder for this job!
Had a feeling that may be the case with the steering bearings. Guess I'll start counting to figure out how many I dropped under the work bench on dissassembly.
Thanks much for the advice.
