Hi. For the inside of your tank I strongly suggest the electroysis route. It's really simple and cheap to do with very impressive results. You can find a tutorial under Paperslammers moniker, or mine, I think. :-*

Coming along...have the old tank to deal with yet, but might try electroysis.
