Swinging The C72 Engine - Can This Be Done?

G'day Guys
Thanks for all the help and advice.
I used the Permatex No.2 solution on the head gasket and o-rings.
Put the motor back in on the weekend (startor motor not working now?) and kicked her over and away she went.
No oil leaks observed, went for a couple of rides up and down the street and all looks OK.
However I am confused and concerned about the current draw when the key is turned on - it is about 2.5 amps with nothing electrical connected except the coil. If you know anything about electrics and can help, please see my post in "Electrical - Wiring".
