ground up parts bike ca95 build

Post by joshm83 » Tue Feb 04, 2014 10:43 pm

Hey there I am new here. I found a running ca95 motor on craigslist a guy had on a trike. He parted out and sold. I got a bill of sale for it. Then I bought a frame off eBay for it and have bill of sale for that. I got a good start on a build for a reasonable price. Couple questions. I live in Ohio and was wondering if anyone knew if it would be classified as a custom build and if so would the build be worth completing given I gotta do it piece by piece or is there a cheaper custom route to go using the motor thanks. A piece by piece build will for sure be far more costly than a complete project bike. I would use those parts as just that parts and find another near complete project bike to start with. Mine wasnt that drastic but my dream 305 build was started with a junkyard quality bike. Most parts had to be replaced. Not long later I picked up a ca95 for dirt cheap and in decent near complete condition.. The CA77 build will end up costing me more than purchasing a nice rider complete stock bike.

Good luck,
~James
