I'm having trouble with my idle setting too. So, the air screw is the one FURTHEST from the engine? That's totally reversed of normal motorcycles. What did you do to get yours idling correctly?sky1haze wrote:I just recently learned from reading the original hand book that it is the screw further from the engine in which you want to screw in till it is seated then out about 1 1/8 turns, then the screw closer to the engine to control the idle.......This whole time I was racking my brain, taking my carb in and out about 10 plus times trying to get the perfect settings....atleast 18 plugs etc......All in all it was the wrorng screws I was setting.....I went for my first normal ride today!!!!!!!!

The one further from the engine is the idle speed (adjusts the resting position of the slide)
Edit.....Just checked the owners manual, and indeed the manual has the 2 screws mis-labeled in the picture!
