you should not assume that what's in that carb is either correct or original. It's very likely that someone has already put a Keyster kit in the carb, in which case you are comparing incorrect parts with also incorrect stuff. a giveaway is the markings (or lack of them ) on the slide needle. originals are marked with a Kxxxxx, others Dxx or nothing. It's hard to see the minute differences without a magnifying glass.

My '65 Parts Books shows idle jets from 35 up to 42 and main jets from 110 up to 130. Bill Silver indicates that #35 idle and #110-120 main are the stock jets.

After rebuild the idle mix screw should be at about 1 turn out from bottom and he recommends the idle speed just touching the slide plus add 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
