Thanks for the tip Cadman, I'll give that a shot.

The battery is totally new. When charged and hooked up it was reading right around that mark.

"With the key in the "OFF" position remove the negative battery cable and lightly "flick" it against the negative battery post - if you see a a slight spark there is something draining the battery"

Good and simple test.
id think id be working on that carb and get it running then work on the battery if it needs it.
