Hello "G".
I didn't like the number he gave at first as near as I know "6" was not a first number used by HONDA with these bikes.
Ya think the engine and frame are a match?. ....................lm

Nice project.

frame CA78--310667
Engine CA77--615683
Speedo shows 5035 miles

not sure what year this this bike is yet

Kicks over and seems to have strong compression, inside of gas tank is clean.

Hopefully it won't take much to get it running

LM - Good spot on the numbers.

I seem to remember that there was a period in '63 when there were several thousand numbers between the CA78 frames and their CA77 engines. I think that might be the case here.

I think that Conbs posted on thsi a couple of years ago.

I'd go that the numbers may be OK for a match.
The 6 as a first number sure JUMPS OUT!. .....................lm
